PARIS, Texas — Paris Junior College Baseball invites the community to Hub Hollis Field on Friday, October 23, for the 11th Annual Home Run Derby! Gates open at 5:00 p.m., with the Derby beginning at 6:00 p.m. Fans can enjoy a fun-filled evening under the lights featuring home run competition, a live DJ, food trucks, PJC Baseball merchandise, door prizes, and more. The Dragons will once again compete in a team-based, head-to-head Home Run Derby as they wrap up their fall season. Bring the whole family and join us for a great night at the ballpark!
This year’s Home Run Derby also kicks off PJC Baseball Alumni Weekend, as former Dragons return to Paris for a weekend of baseball and fellowship. Alumni are invited to join the current team on the field during Friday night’s Derby, followed by an alumni social that evening. Saturday’s festivities include an alumni breakfast and tailgate, an 11:00 a.m. Alumni vs. Dragons game at Hub Hollis Field, and an evening alumni gathering. Former Dragons interested in participating or receiving the complete weekend itinerary can contact Head Baseball Coach Clay Cox at ccox@parisjc.edu.
