EKG Technician Cardio Certification Program - HYBRID

The EKG/ECG Technician program will prepare a student to be certified as an EKG/ECG Technician.  Main topics of study will include Safety, Compliance and Coordinated Patient Care; EKG/ECG Acquisition including maintenance and electrode placement; and EKG/ECG analysis and interpretation. 

Students will learn the proper way to attach leads for standard 12-lead EKG/ECG; ambulatory (e.g. Holter, event) monitoring; stress testing; telemetry and patients who have special considerations.  Students will learn waveform characteristics, identify arrhythmias, how to measure intervals and more. (ECRD1011-Electrocardiography)

Fees: $675 (50 Hours)
