Sexual harassment is described as unwelcome sexual advances, request for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature when:

  • Submission to such conduct is made either explicitly or implicitly a term or condition of academic success;
  • Submission to or rejection of such conduct by an individual is used as the basis for academic decisions affecting the student; or
  • Such conduct has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with a student’s performance or creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment.
  • Same-sex sexual harassment is prohibited.

Sexual harassment is strictly prohibited by and is considered a violation of college policy and should be reported immediately.
