Report Bullying or Concerning Behavior
If you or someone else is experiencing bullying or unsafe behavior, take action immediately.

Our Commitment
Paris Junior College is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful learning environment. Bullying, harassment, and intimidation are not tolerated. Retaliation against anyone who reports or participates in a complaint is strictly prohibited.
Bullying is intentional behavior—verbal, physical, social, or electronic—that is severe, persistent, or pervasive and interferes with a student’s ability to participate in or benefit from college programs or activities.
Bullying may include:
- Verbal threats, insults, or intimidation
- Physical aggression or unwanted contact
- Social exclusion or spreading rumors
- Cyberbullying (texts, social media, email, etc.)
Some behavior may also fall under harassment, discrimination, or Title IX, depending on the circumstances.
You can report bullying in several ways:
- Submit an online report (recommended)
- Student Complaint Form – Must be logged in to MyPJC.
- Contact Student Services or a college employee
- On the Paris Campus, Administration building, Ste. 152 – VP of Student Services
- Call 903-782-0211
- Email ss@parisjc.edu
- Report to a faculty member, advisor, or staff member
What to Include (if possible):
- Names of individuals involved
- Description of the behavior
- Dates, times, and locations
- Any supporting documentation (screenshots, messages, etc.)
PJC takes all reports seriously and will respond promptly.
- Initial Review
- The report is reviewed by appropriate college officials (e.g., Student Services, BIT/Dragon Watch)
- Assessment & Action
- Student Conduct
- Harassment/Discrimination
- Title IX
- Behavioral Intervention (BIT)
- Determine whether the behavior falls under:
- Investigation (if applicable)
- Interviews and review of available information
- Coordination with relevant departments
- Outcome & Follow-Up
- No policy violation found
- Educational intervention
- Disciplinary action under the Student Code of Conduct
- Possible outcomes include:
- Timeline
- Most cases are reviewed and addressed as quickly as possible, typically within 10 business days, depending on complexity
PJC provides support to students impacted by bullying or concerning behavior.
Available resources may include:
- Counseling Services
- Academic support or adjustments (when appropriate)
- PJC Cares (basic needs, emergency assistance)
- Behavioral Intervention Team (Dragon Watch)
- Safety planning and referrals
You do not have to go through this alone—support is available.
- Students are encouraged to report bullying or concerning behavior
- Employees are expected to report known incidents to appropriate college officials
- Anyone may report concerns on behalf of another student
PJC prohibits retaliation against any individual who:
- Reports bullying or misconduct
- Participates in an investigation
- Assists another student in reporting
Retaliation is a violation of college policy and may result in disciplinary action.
