Max Goerte of Telephone, Texas, receives the Distinguished Service Award from Paris Junior College President Dr. Pamela Anglin Friday during PJC Commencement exercises. This academic award is given to an outstanding graduating student selected by the faculty and professional staff of the college. This award was first given in 1935 to Louis B. Williams.
