PJC Music Department offering two events

Published or Revised November 22, 2017

The Paris Junior College Music Department is offering two evenings of music on Monday, Dec. 4, and Tuesday, Dec. 5. Both are under the direction of PJC Music Instructor, Dr. Michael Holderer, and will be held in the J. Emory Shaw Recital Hall in the Music Building. Joining with the choir to perform Christmas favorites is the theme for the PJC Choir Christmas Concert and Sing-Along, Monday at 7 p.m. The program includes: "It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas," "Rise Up, Shepherd and Follow," "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," "Silent Night," "One Horse Open Sleigh / Jingle Bells," and many more. Bring family, friends, and your best singing voice to join in. The next evening, also at 7 p.m., is the Music Student Recital featuring students of piano, voice, and guitar, performing chosen selections to highlight their semester. Both classical and contemporary music will be featured. These events are free and the public is invited. For more information, contact 903-782-0343 or music@parisjc.edu.
