Five students of Paris Junior College's drama program met with a great deal of success at the recent North East Texas Drama Auditions. Attending were Ryan Box, Paige Collins and Austen Naren, all drama majors with the musical theater concentration; drama major Kaytlyn Zimmer; and Taren Sartor, drama major with stage management concentration. All are from Paris. The five received callbacks from schools such as Oklahoma State University, University of Tulsa, Lindenwood University, Colorado Mesa University, Baylor University and University of Texas at Arlington. “The University of Texas at Arlington wanted all five of our students,” said PJC drama instructor William Walker. “They have created a brand new Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Musical Theater beginning next fall, and we are looking at working more closely with them.”
