Initial Steps Upon Arrival To Paris Junior College

1. Degree-seeking students, including international students, must take the Texas Success Initiative Assessment 2.0 (TSIA2) prior to enrollment. Test results will determine the particular courses for which a student may register. Some transfer students may be exempt from a section (2) of TSIA2.

2. Register for the appropriate course as indicated by your TSIA2 results and degree plan.

3. Submit the following documents to the Counselor/Advisor within fifteen (15) days of the program start date.

  • Current passport
  • I-94
  • Stamped I-20
  • Proof of Insurance
  • F-1/M-1 visa

Re-entering The United States

Prior to leaving the United States, international students should meet with a counselor/advisor in the Counseling/Advising Center to ensure that they meet re-entry requirements. International Students will need the following documents for re-entry into the United States at the Port-of-Entry:

  • Valid F-1 visa
  • Valid Passport
  • Paris Junior College SEVIS I-20 endorsed by a Designated School Official
  • Declaration of Finances may be required
