PJC Information Services Students and alumni are assisted in achieving appropriate career goals, increasing personal satisfaction and self-esteem, improving interpersonal and social relationships, and obtaining more from available education and job opportunities by the PJC Counseling/Advising Department. Services provided by the department include: » Personal Counseling Appointments can be made in person or by telephone. Students may drop-in or schedule an appointment to see a counselor or advisor. Paris Campus: Greenville Center: Sulphur Springs Center: Students may consult a counselor or advisor from the Counseling/Advising Center at any time regarding academic concerns. All veterans are required to be academically advised by an advisor from the Counseling/Advising Center. All students, regardless of their academic status, are encouraged to seek academic advising as early on in the semester as possible to plan their schedules and discuss their academic progress. Each Schedule of Classes contains information about early advising and registration opportunities. Seeking advice in a timely manner will help students avoid such problems as non-transferable courses and delays in graduation.
