Paris, Texas-The Paris Junior College Board of Regents is accepting applications from qualified individuals interested in filling two upcoming vacancies on the Board of Trustees.
The vacancies will be created by the resignations of Trustee Charles Lynch and Trustee Ginna Bowman, both effective June 22, 2026.
Applicants interested in serving in Place 4 must be registered voters and residents of the Paris Junior College Taxing District / Trustee Precinct 4. The individual appointed to Place 4 will serve the remainder of the unexpired term through November 2026, when the seat will appear on the regular trustee election ballot.
Applicants interested in serving in Place 6 must be registered voters and residents of the Paris Junior College Taxing District / Trustee Precinct 3. The individual appointed to Place 6 will serve the remainder of the unexpired term through November 2030, when the seat will appear on the regular trustee election ballot.
Board members serve without compensation and are expected to attend regular monthly meetings and occasional special meetings.
Applications are available through the President’s Office in the Administration Building on the Paris campus, located at 2400 Clarksville Street in Paris, Texas. Applications are also available online through the Paris Junior College website.
Completed applications must be submitted no later than June 2, 2026.
The Board of Regents will review applications and consider appointments during a future regular monthly meeting.
