Ground-breaking ceremonies were held May 18, 2007, for construction of a multipurpose academic building that will be the centerpiece of Paris Junior College’s new campus in Greenville, Texas.

The building, located at 6500 Monty Stratton Blvd., will contain 39,000 square feet of space for both academic and administrative use, and is the first building of a multiphase campus.

The building is expected to be completed in July 2008 and ready for classes beginning with the fall 2008 semester.

The two-story building will contain classrooms, a science lab, a computer lab, a library, a large meeting room that can also be used as a classroom, and administrative offices.
