This section describes various services available for both current and prospective students of Paris Junior College. Federal TRiO ProgramsThe Federal TRiO programs are educational opportunity outreach programs designed to motivate and support students from disadvantaged backgrounds. The three TRiO Programs available at Paris Junior College include: » Educational Opportunity Center: The Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) was developed to respond to the increasing educational needs of adults. Advisors are available to provide individuals with help in three basic areas: financial aid, admissions, and career planning. » Upward Bound: Upward Bound seeks students whose potential abilities may be lost to society unless they can be motivated to apply their talents and energies constructively. » Educational Talent Search: This early intervention program helps young people to better understand the opportunities available to them through continuing their education. PJC Testing CenterA variety of tests required for students and prospective students are administered through the Paris Junior College Testing Center, located in the Alford Building behind the College Store. |
