This handbook presents Paris Junior College (PJC) programs, policies, and student information in a student‑first, compliance‑forward structure aligned with Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) requirements and SACSCOC expectations. Content has been reorganized for clarity and usability; academic requirements and policies remain substantively unchanged.
Nothing contained in the Student Handbook shall supersede, modify, or override any provision of the official PJC Policy Manual. In the event of any conflict, inconsistency, or omission, the language of the PJC Policy Manual shall control.
Paris Junior College reserves the right, through action of its Board of Regents, to modify, amend, or change any policy, regulation, procedure, program, or fee described herein, as required to comply with applicable federal and state laws, Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board rules, accreditation standards, or institutional needs.
