Field Coordinator, Retired Senior Volunteer Program

Responsibilities:This position will perform general clerical and field coordination duties for the Retired Senior Volunteer Program.
Qualifications: Applicant must have an Associate Degree or equivalent. Experience with senior adults very important. Demonstrated computer skills. Demonstrated proficiency in English grammar, punctuation, spelling, and proper word usage required. Must be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact in handling confidential matters, screening telephone calls and visitors, and scheduling time. Organizational skills. Responsible and use of good judgment.
Salary: The salary for this position is $10.36 per hour and is contingent upon grant funding through the Retired Senior Volunteer Program.
Fringe Benefits: This position covers health insurance at 100% for employee. Additional optional coverages include dental, vision, AD&D, life insurance, and long- and short-term disability. Other benefits include retirement under the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, accrued sick leave, vacation, paid holidays, and an employee reimbursement/dependent scholarship program. Health benefits require a 60-day employment period.
