Ashley Johnston named assistant softball coach

Ashley Johnston of West Monroe, La., has been named assistant women's softball coach at Paris Junior College, effective Aug. 1. Johnston received her bachelor of science degree in kinesiology from Northwestern Oklahoma State University, where she attended on a softball scholarship. She plans to pursue her master's degree at Texas A&M University - Commerce.
