PJC’s Chamber Singers will perform Dec. 4

The Paris Junior College Chamber Singers, the College's top vocal group, will present an evening of their favorite Christmas carols prefaced by a dramatic reading which will give the background of each selection, according to Patricia Fowzer, vocal director. Held in the beautifully decorated sanctuary of First United Methodist Church at 7:30 p.m.. on Tuesday, Dec. 4, this new presentation has been created especially by the Chamber Singers. Choir selections will include such favorites as "O Holy Night," "O Come All Ye Faithful," and "Hark the Herald Angels Sing." Soloists will be featured in "Away In A Manger," "O Come, O Come Emmanuel," and "In the Bleak Midwinter." Linda Flanary, the new accompanist at Paris Junior College, will be joined by Thomas Belew at the keyboard for a four-hand piano accompaniment of the "Sussex Carol." the program will prove informative as well as musically inspirationally. There is no charge for this program.
