Chapman Signing
Paris Junior College sophomore basketball player Antonio Chapman is heading to Claremore, Okla., after signing to continue his education and playing career at Rogers State University in the fall. Chapman came to PJC after graduating from Blount High School in Mobile, Ala. He's looking forward to attending Rogers State. "I liked Rogers State and they're rebuilding the city so it'll be nice," said Chapman. "PJC was a great experience for me and having three head coaches in one year was kind of wild. It was a learning experience and helped me to grow up a little bit more." "Any time you have one of your sophomores move on to the four-year level it's gratifying; that's why we get into this, to help guys achieve their dreams and goals of playing at the highest possible level," said PJC Head Basketball Coach Bobby Taylor. "I came in halfway through the year and have seen Antonio get better every day, even once the season was over. His work ethic in the off season program has been tremendous and he's been rewarded for all of his hard work."
