Published or Revised November 09, 2007

Five members of the PJC Lady Dragons volleyball team have earned All-Conference honors following the squad's second season. Jessica Green, a sophomore from Roanoke, Texas, was named to the 1st Team All-Conference and was named Co-Libero of the Year. Four Lady Dragons earned Honorable Mention All-Conference honors. They were: Tara Gibby, a sophomore from Sulphur Springs; Gabby Ortiz, a sophomore from Harlingen; Robyn Bush, a sophomore from Powderly; and Kaitlin Vasquez, a freshman from Garland. "All of these young women were deserving of the honor," said Lady Dragons Coach Justin Maness. Maness credited his teams dedication for its 15-win season in only its second year of play, a feat he called "awesome" in "an extremely tough conference."
