Paris Junior College Adult Education and Family Literacy welcomes student participation in our intensive 8-week Workforce Development IET (Integrated Education and Training) program, HSE (High School Equivalency) prep program, literacy, English as a Second Language (ESL) program, or Distance Learning. Face-to-face and virtual (work from home) classes are available.

The Department of Continuing Education at Paris Junior College offers a large selection of non-credit courses and learning opportunities. These include short-term skills training that can lead to a new career, personal enrichment, or courses qualifying for Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

Dual Credit for High School Students provides an opportunity for qualifying students to take courses that give them both high school and college credit.

Programs of Study for accredited certificates or degrees at Paris Junior College include those leading to a career immediately upon graduation (workforce) and those that transfer to a university (academic).

PJC has partnered with many four-year colleges and universities to establish articulation agreements and degree plans/transfer guides to assist students in meeting degree requirements for a bachelor’s degree. Learn more and see a list of partnering institutions by clicking here.

The Workforce Education Division oversees those certificate and associate degree programs designed to prepare students to enter and compete in the job market. This department also offers customized training programs for business and industrial clients based on individual requirements and can serve as an "in-house" college.
