Long-time PJC employees recognized recently

When Paris Junior College staff and faculty came together for a meeting preceding the start of fall semester on Aug. 25, PJC President Dr. Pamela Anglin awarded long-time employees service pins celebrating their anniversaries. Receiving recognition were: Computer Science Instructor Jenny Herron, 35 years; Print Shop Coordinator Tim Shelton and Learning Skills Director Pam Hunt, 30 years; History Instructor Lisa Johnson and Mathematics/Physics Instructor Lee LaRue, 25 years; Student Services Executive Secretary Sharon Wood, Jewelry Technology Instructor Harrel Harrison, Licensed Vocational Nursing Instructor Joyce Bookout, Surgical Scrub Tech Coordinator Sheila Jones and Licensed Vocational Nursing Instructor Debbie Bookout, 20 years; Small Business Development Center Counselor Rudy Slusher, Industrial Technologies Instructional Supervisor Charlie Hodgkiss, Educational Opportunity Center Advisor Sophia Noiel, HVAC Building Mechanic Ray Evans, Campus Programming Services Keith Coco and Cosmetology Instructor Essie Moore, 15 years; and Security Patrol Officer Eric Gibbs, Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology Instructor Jenna Ormsbee, Security Patrol Officer Richard Adams, Learning Skills Instructor Brent Cuttrell, Tech-Prep Director Kelley Townsend, Adult Education and Literacy Secretary Janet Smith, Counseling Advisor Donna Glass, Health Occupations Secretary Carla Jones, English Instructor Rhonda Armstrong, Math Instructor Nicole Baucom and Social Sciences Secretary Barbara Young, 10 years.
