Margaret Ruff joins PJC’s Public Information Office

Margaret G. Ruff has joined the staff of Paris Junior College as Director of Public Information & Marketing. Ruff is a communications professional with additional expertise in non-profit association management and government relations. "This is the warmest welcome I've ever received," says Ruff. "Though I've not been here a full week I can tell that Paris is a lovely community with great people. I'm looking forward to putting my knowledge and experience to work to assist the students, faculty and staff of Paris Junior College in reaching their goals." Ruff comes to the college from the Oklahoma Department of Corrections. Prior to that she was Government Relations Director for the Oklahoma Public Employees Association and Communications Director, then Executive Director of the Oklahoma Wildlife Federation. Originally from Georgia and Florida, Ruff also lived in Washington, DC, for several years and has spent the last 18 years living in Oklahoma City. After graduating from the University of Central Florida with a B.A. in political science, Ruff was a master's candidate in international politics at George Washington University in Washington, DC. She also is a Certified Association Executive, a professional designation from the American Society of Association Executives.
