Players who received honors are, clockwise from top left, Devin Jackson, Brandon Hollins, Omar Sherman and Tyshon Rogers.

Paris Junior College sophomore Omar Sherman was named to the 2015-16 All Region XIV Men's Basketball Second Team, as well as the 2015-16 All Region XIV Men's North Zone Basketball Second Team. Receiving 2015-16 All Region XIV Men's North Zone Basketball Honorable Mention were sophomore Brandon Hollins and freshmen Devin Jackson and Tyshon Rogers. The information was released by the National Junior College Athletic Association Region XIV. “I really feel that if we could have put together a few more wins, Omar would have had the chance to be a first team selection and maybe even a Player of The Year candidate," said PJC Coach Bobby Taylor. "I honestly feel that he is one of the best players in the entire country and he is going to have a very bright future at whatever Division I program he selects. “Brandon was a favorite of all the opposing coaches we faced this year because of his energy and work ethic. He received so many compliments, from our opposition, on how hard he played every night and this honor is reflective of that.” “Devin is, without question, one of the best shooters in the country and he really raised his level of play over the last three weeks of the season," said Coach Taylor. "He will most definitely be one of the most sought-after junior college recruits in Region 14 next season. “Of all the guys who received individual recognition, Tyshon was the one who had to overcome the most. He was thrust into the role of point guard, with no experience at the position. I feel like he handled himself very well and got better every game. He should have a big year for us next season and put himself in position to be highly recruited.”
