PJC music student recital set for Nov. 18

The music department at Paris Junior College will present a student recital at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18, in the Shaw Recital Hall located in the Mayer Music Building on the PJC campus. The students will perform a range of musical styles, including classical, sacred and Broadway music. Vocal students under the direction of Patricia Fowzer include Brandi Amos of Annona, Clarissa Christensen of El Campo, Alicia Edwards of Greenville, John Flowers of Paris, Cate Jones of Powderly, Erin McDowell-Jennings of Paris, Megan Rosprim of Paris, Jordon Thielman of Paris, Lauren Thompson of Sumner and Vallery Schmidt of Bogata. Piano students under the direction of Jennie Vaughan are Cade Bailey of Paris, Vallery Schmidt of Bogata and Lauren Thompson of Paris. Justin Hughes, a clarinet student under the direction of Ben Fowzer, will also perform. He will be accompanied by Jennie Vaughan. Cade Bailey, Trenton Little and Tiffany Hughes, all of Paris, will perform. They are students of Roger Bryant. There is no admission charge, and the public is invited.
