Workshop set on WWII oral history

The Social Science Department at Paris Junior College will sponsor a workshop, "Collecting Histories of World War II Veterans," from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 19, according to Allen Williams, director. The session will meet in room 1104 of the Bobby R. Walters Workforce Training Center on the PJC campus. William McWhorter of the Texas Historical Commission will conduct the workshop to show participants how to interview veterans, what resources are available and where to locate them, and give other pertinent information needed to help in the ongoing gathering of this important historical data.
